Seeing Santa...

This is the BEST we could do!

This year we took Brinley to see Santa at South Town Mall the Santa there is not so scary looking! Last year at 5 months se didn't care, but this year at 17 months was a different story. First of all she wasn't scared of him, she just wanted nothing to do with sitting. She didn't want to sit still on my lap or his. All she wanted to do was play with the ornaments on the trees. Maybe next year.

Thanksgiving 2010...

This year for Thanksgiving we had dinner at my parent's house then went to Jake's aunt's for dessert. We had dinner with his family the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I was on call for the holiday and had to work that morning. Then got called back in at 4pm so Jake took Brinley to his aunt's house by himself. I only had to work a couple of hours, so it wasn't that bad.

Discovery Gateway Gym...

Brinley loves to play at the Discovery Gym. They have all sorts of different sections for the kids to play in. Her favorite sections are the grocery store, the house, and the water toys sections. I love taking her there cause I can just let her loose!

Halloween 2010...

On Halloween night we stopped over at Jake's grandparents house so they could see Brinley in her costume before we went trick-or-treating at my parents. We had Brinley all dressed up in her costume with her basket in hand and had her knock on the door while we said tick-or-treat. Great grandma and grandpa answered the door and put some candy in her basket, which she thought was the coolest thing. We had home made chili and dessert before heading out. When we arrived at my parents house, we did the same thing. Again, Brinley thought it was so cool. We let her have a little piece of candy before my mom and I took her to a couple of their neighbors houses. Every thought she was so funny walking around in her lamb costume with her basket in her little hand.

Halloween Pictures...

This year for Halloween, Brinley was a lamb. We took her to Target to get a few pictures in her costume. At this age she is not very good a being patient for pictures. Here are a few good ones!

Gardner Village Part 2.....

My mom and I took Brinley to see the witches at Gardner Village again. Brinley had such a good time the week before when we went with our friends I wanted to take her again. My mom wanted to see the decorations and start Christmas shopping too. This time there wasn't as many people as the week before, so Brinley was able to run around and see more of the witches. I took her inside of the little petting zoo to pet the animals and she was infatuated with the goats. She thought one of them was a chair so she decided to sit on it and yank on its horns.

Gardner Village...

In October, Brinley and I went to Gardner Village with our friend Megan and her baby Olivia. For the Halloween season they have the village all decorated with witches. Brinley loved running around seeing all of the different witches and hugging all of the pumpkins. She is at such a fun age, where everything is so new and fun to her. She gets so excited when she sees something "cool".

Wheeler Farm...

In October we took Brinley to Wheeler Farm to pick out a pumpkin and see the animals. We live right by the farm so we visit all of the time. Brinley loves to feed the ducks and snort at the pigs. During the fall you can go on hay rides around the farm. They have a cute little pumpkin patch that was just perfect for little Brinley to pick out her pumpkin.

Christmas Card Pictures...

In October we went to Murray Park to get some pictures taken for our Christmas cards. I wanted to take them early, before the snow came! My mom came with us so she could take the pictures. She took a bunch but only got a few good ones. Brinley doesn't like to sit for more than 2 minutes. These are the pictures we decided to use.

My 29th Birthday...

For my birthday this year, Jake surprised me with an overnight stay at Hotel Park City and dinner and Ruth's Chris. He had it all planned out for my mom to watch her for the evening and overnight. We got up to Park City and checked in then went to dinner at the Ruth's Chris inside the hotel then we went shopping at the outlets. My birthday was on the 25th of September so the weather was very nice we were able to sit out on the patio for dinner, which had a beautiful view. When we woke up we went to breakfast at Squatters then home to pick up the munchkin. We had a great time.

Kellen and Courtney's Wedding....

On September 22, 2010 my brother got married to a wonderful girl Courtney. They had their wedding at the U of U. It overlooked the city and the football field. I was a bridesmaid and Jake was a groomsmen. They wanted Brinley to be in the wedding, but at 14 months old, she was not going to cooperate at all. Her colors were black, white, and turquoise. She looked beautiful! We had Jake's parents watch Brinley during the ceremony then they brought her for pictures and for part of the reception then they took her home to bed. We had such a good time with family and friends. Congratulations Kellen and Courtney.

Brother's Rehearsal Dinner.....

My brother Kellen, got married back in September to a wonderful girl, Courtney. They had the rehearsal in my parent's backyard then the dinner was at Olive Garden. We got a babysitter to watch Brinley so we could enjoy ourselves. The dinner was delicious! Courtney gave all of the girls in her line some beautiful jewlery to wear with our dresses at the wedding and the guys got gift cards to Golf Galaxy. Congratulations Kellen and Courtney.
