Brinley's 1st Photo Shoot

These pictures are from Brinley's first photo shoot when she was 2 weeks old. We had them done at a place called Peekaboo Photos. She did such a wonderful job, we are going back for her 1st birthday pictures.

So since I haven't been keeping up with my blog here are a few pictures of Brinley. She is now 6 1/2 months old. She has two teeth, rolls all over the place, eats solids, almost sitting all by herself, and has a darling personality!

Where It All Began

Jake and I got engaged on Halloween 2006. Jake went to the pumpkin patch and bought us each a pumpkin to carve. We each carved our pumpkin and as I was taking the insides of my pumpkin out I found a black box inside of a plastic baggie. I was kind of freaked out at first, but when I took the box out of the baggie, Jake was getting down on one knee and then he asked me to marry him. He had secretly put the ring inside of the pumpkin from the bottom and then put it back together with a few small nails. I was shocked! I had no idea that he was going to propose to me when he did. I thought it was very creative and cute of him to think of something so different.
