It's A Girl...

The shot to let us know she was a girl.

Her profile colored in pink.

Her foot.

3-D image of her sucking her thumb.

So today I went to Millcreek Imaging and had my ultrasound. The ultrasound was about an hour long. During the test they went over every single organ in the baby's body, starting from the head then down to the toes then to the heart and then they finally told us what we were having. They checked my placenta and the amniotic fluid. They took all sorts of measurements too. We got all of our pictures on a C.D. then we got the entire ultrasound on a DVD. What an awesome thing. This was probably one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Jake, my mom, and myself got to watch the test done on a HD flat screen T.V. We are so excited to be having a little girl!! I have already been shopping. We have a list of names that we like but nothing is set in stone. I will keep everyone posted.

Baby Update...

Today I went to see my doctor. I am now 18 weeks and 1 day. They took my weight, my blood pressure, and did a urinalysis. He also felt to make sure my uterus was where it was suppose to be. We heard the baby's heartbeat by doppler, beating at 145 BPM. I declined to do the genetic testing. I didn't want to be more stressed out! It's only a probability test anyway, not a "yes" or "no". I would like some feedback from my fellow bloggers if they did or did not do it. I can still change my mind in the next couple of weeks. So far everything looks great. We find out on Wednesday the sex of the baby, I can hardly wait!! My next appointment is on February 23, so I will keep everyone posted.
